The Alaska State Commission For Human Rights Is Seeking a Qualified Individual To Investigate And Resolve Discrimination Cases. The Human Rights Commission is an executive branch agency within the State of Alaska, Office of the Governor established under the Alaska Human Rights Law, AS 18.80. The Commission is seeking an investigator (Human Rights Field Representative III) to investigate complaints of discrimination, gather evidence and conduct witness interviews, analyze facts, make findings about whether discrimination has occurred, draft complaints and determination letters, conduct intakes, and manage an ongoing caseload. This position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work independently, as well as skill in conducting impartial and prompt investigations, analyzing evidence in light of relevant law, and preparing clear and comprehensive written and oral investigative reports. One year of experience as a Human Rights Field Representative II with the State or the equivalent elsewhere is required.
