Hearing Disability Required Reasonable Accommodation in Place of Public Accommodation

A hearing disabled passenger on a tour was provided a written summary of the passing sites when he inquired about the availability of assistive listening devices so he could hear the host’s anecdotes.  No assistive listening device was available.  The parties signed a Conciliation Agreement on July 22, 2021, which included the tour company purchasing and installing assistive listening equipment.  Upon completion of training and receipt of a final report, this file will be closed.
