NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING 

The Alaska State Commission for Human Rights 

The Commission will hold a public meeting beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Ted Ferry Civic Center, 888 Venetia Way, Ketchikan, Alaska. 

Public participation is noticed for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. 

The Commission will hold a reception following the meeting from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend the reception to meet the Commissioners and learn more about the Human Rights Commission.

THE ALASKA STATE COMMISSION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Presents a Workshop on “BUT I DIDN’T MEAN TO”: What Employers and Employees need to know about their responsibilities and rights under Alaska’s law prohibiting discrimination 

This training will explain to employers and employees what workplace conduct violates Alaska’s law prohibiting discrimination.  The training will benefit employers, human resource directors, personnel managers, and all staff.
